Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) with Cloud8 Panel

Table of Contents

MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is a security method that requires more than one form of verification to grant access to an account or system. In addition to the traditional password, the user must provide a second factor, such as a code generated by an authenticator app, a physical security key, or a code sent via SMS. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if the password is compromised.

Check below how you can activate this security layer in our Multicloud Panel .

Enabling MFA in Cloud8 #

1. Log in normally to the Cloud8 MultiCloud Panel

2. Then look for the Users option in the left side menu, and click

Cloud8 side menu

3. On the next screen, select your user from the list and click the MFA button on the top bar.

4. The screen that opens next will display a QR-Code and an alphanumeric code. Use one of them in your preferred authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) to take a photo of the QR Code or enter the code manually.
