The Pivot Table feature in the FinOps Reports of the Cloud8 Dashboard allows you to view the cloud costs of registered providers in detail and by graph. To facilitate this visualization, it is possible to group this data. As an example, see below how to group this by Product contracted.

Step by step for grouping #
- In the Cloud8 Control Panel, find FinOps Reports in the side menu and click on Pivot Table
- To group by Products, locate Row Labels in the top context menu and click on Product or any other field. Find the Group Labels option and click
- In the screen that opens, first click on the Add button within the Groups panel and give your group a name, then click on Finish.
- Then click the Add button inside the Values panel to select the rows you want in this group, select the rows and then click Add to confirm these values in this group.
- Repeat the process as needed, creating as many groups as you want. Remember to name your groups appropriately.
- Once you have the groups you want, click Save.
- You can now view your data grouped by Product in the PivotTable and Chart
- To return to the full ungrouped view, click Product or the chosen field and then Clear Groups
