To monitor developments and obtain cloud cost estimates, Amazon requires you to enable cost monitoring.
The quickest and easiest way is to enable it through Cloud8. Go to the “Costs – Analytics” tab and click on the link that warns you about using “Advanced Billing”:
A screen will then open asking for your Amazon login and password. But don’t worry, this login will only be used to make billing settings and will not interfere with the credentials that are already registered.
You can also choose to do it directly through AWS. To do so, simply go to the “Billing Preferences” page and enable all fields:

Success! Depending on the circumstances within a few minutes or hours, cost estimates will be available on your dashboard.
